Elsa Maria is the newest member in the Sustainable Building Team in Italy. Her expertise lies within Life Cycle Assessments and sustainability certifications such as BREEAM and DGNB.
Originally from Italy, she pursued my master’s in architectural engineering in Copenhagen, where she specialized in building physics and sustainability. During this time, Elsa Maria also founded a startup focused on developing and bringing to market sustainable building materials made of hemp and bamboo. Her career as sustainability consultant began in Munich, Bavaria where she worked in the sustainable building Team of Ramboll DE. In my free time Elsa Maria enjoys singing, sometimes she goes out to dance, and plays rugby.
Elsa Maria chose to work for OTEREA because it has always been her dream to continue her work in the sustainable building sector while returning to her roots in Turin. She cannot imagine a better opportunity to advance her career, develop professionally, and contribute to the mission of reducing the environmental impact of the building sector.
